Much of the clothes were tied into bondage and the homosexual community. It involved clothes for individuals that felt that they were outcasts of society. The �Sex� store's clothes were too costly for the punk masses. Then punksters started shopping in used clothing stores to get their clothes including bandtees.
The Sex Pistols' uniform would have been a leather jacket, spike belt and jelled spike hair that was edgy. It turned out the antithesis as to the Captain Beefheart, Lynard Skynard and Deep Purple wore on stage. Voxpunk has got the punk rock clothes and clothing including bandtees.
